Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The Monterey County Historical Society is honored to be the custodian of the Pat Hathaway Collection. Hathaway established California Views on November 29, 1970 and was located in historic Monterey, on the California Central Coast, this unique photo archive is the most comprehensive Historical Photo Collection of the Monterey Bay area in existence. After the sudden passing passing of Mr. Hathaway in January 2021, the Monterey County Historical Society became the beneficiary of his collection. Pat Hathaway and California Views are names that have become synonymous with Monterey History and historical images of the California central coast. Many of the images resident in the collection are one of a kind, rare and unique having been sourced...
