Artist's Description
Be like the ocean, even when the surface is stormy, the core of the ocean is calm and tranquil. This long exposure of the rocky shoreline and ocean was taken during the California 2002 wildfires, which ravaged through the West coast, leaving a trail of destruction and unrest. On this day, when everything seemed to be burning, and there was a fire 50 miles South on the coast, the ocean air was clean.
