This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Barclay Ferguson, Viscount of Lamond was born on September 22, 1924.
Ferguson moving to the Monterey Peninsula in the early 1970’s. He was the director of the Pacific Grove Art Center at that time. He was active in the local art scene and a member of the Carmel Art Association.
He died in Monterey, California on December 26, 1991.

Hathaway established California Views on November 29, 1970 and was located in historic Monterey, on the California Central Coast, this unique photo archive is the most comprehensive Historical Photo Collection of the Monterey Bay area in existence. After the sudden passing passing of Mr. Hathaway in January 2021, the Monterey County Historical Society became the beneficiary of his collection. Pat Hathaway and California Views are names that have become synonymous with Monterey History and historical images of the California central coast. Many of the images resident in the collection are one of a kind, rare and unique having been sourced...
