Sketched from the deck of Kapasiwin A11, looking out over Waskesiu Lake. It was a very calm morning � no breeze and still waters � just the crows and squirrels making their morning fuss. Perfect conditions for kayaking.

Waskesiu Lake (in Prince Albert National Park) is one of my favorite spots in northern Saskatchewan. It�s been a summer vacation destination for our family for nearly two decades. I�m drawn to the water, the skies, and the call of the loons. I�m always relaxed and refreshed by this easy, slow down time. Since I�ve started taking my paints and sketchbooks to the lake, I�m enjoying the experience that much more.

I am an Appreciative Adventurer - finding joy and beauty everywhere I am and everywhere I go.
